Digital hygiene and cybersecurity for at-risk roles and managers
This module helps people who handle payments, access rights or data adopt the right habits in their daily work.
Finance, accounting, HR, purchasing, management: these are the functions people turn to when they want a transfer, an access or a file. This half-day gives those who hold them what they need to recognise a request that should not go through, and to make it wait without being at fault.
Who this course is for
- Managers and staff in sensitive functions — finance, accounting, HR, purchasing, management, administration
- Team leaders who want good reflexes to spread around them
- Anyone who is asked, by email or by phone, to pay, to open or to forward
The situations it deals with
- An email from the CEO asks for an urgent transfer, on a Friday at 5 pm, to a new IBAN
- A link received on the work phone leads to a login page that looks like the real one
- A regular supplier announces new bank details on headed paper
- A call "from support" asks for a code received by SMS to "verify the account"
- A confidential file has to go out fast, and the free service found online solves it in two minutes
What you will be able to do afterwards
- Recognise the signs of a payment or access request that should not go through, and know what to do before answering it
- Protect your accounts with what actually matters — a password manager, a second factor — and know why
- Run a work phone and a work mailbox without their becoming the way in
- Make a pressing request wait for a second channel, and tell its author so without embarrassment
- Report a doubt or an incident within the hour, to the right person, without fear of being wrong
How the session runs
- Entry questionnaire, on your phone, to measure where the room starts from
- Why at-risk functions are targets — and what attackers already know about you
- Protecting your digital identity, your access and your passwords
- First practical case — "Sarah's Tuesday": six decisions, on your phone, then a debrief
- Smartphone, messaging and professional mobility — with a ten-minute break
- Defeating manipulation: phishing, CEO fraud, social engineering, deepfakes
- Second practical case — "The confidential operation": six decisions, then a debrief
- Sensitive data and everyday behaviour
- Reflexes in case of doubt or incident — whom to alert, in what order
- Exit questionnaire, the room's progress projected, thirty numbered good practices to take away
Prerequisites
No technical prerequisite. A phone is enough to take part in the practical cases; without one, you follow the session normally and vote by show of hands.
Registration with the House of Training
Registration and payment go through the House of Training, which manages dates and seats. LuxHawk takes no registrations.
This page is LuxHawk's own text; the House of Training catalogue entry is authoritative for dates, price and the official programme.
Interactive teaching
In the room, participants join the session space by scanning a projected QR code — or, if the group prefers, the session is run by a show of hands. Guided questions, concrete situations and collective feedback help adapt explanations as the session goes on; the group's understanding is measured when answers go through the phones.
